Recipe

The Overnight Oats

Since Monday, I have been experimenting with overnight oats since I have been craving for it for weeks now. Let me share the recipe with you especially for those who have to rush to work in the morning (like me). Moreover, oats is one of food that could increase my milk supply to Baby Ariz. Thumbs up for that!!

Overnight preparation
The base - what I usually do
  • 1/3 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup of yogurt (I use Greek- can be replaced with natural yogurt or any type of yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup of milk (I use skimmed milk - can be replaced with almond, rice milk or basically any type of milk)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter (I love the chunky peanut butter)
  • 1 tbsp of chia seed (optional)
  • 1 tbsp of honey/maple syrup (optional)
You could add these ingredients if you want some more flavoring.
  • Chocolate powder
  • Coffee
  • Nutela
Leave this overnight.

The Next Day
The next day, you can go creative. Add
  • Fruits : you can add any fruits that you desired and the amount you want
    • Strawberries 
    • Apples
    • Blueberries
    • Mango
    • Pineapple
  • Granola
  • Cornflakes
  • Nuts
    • Peanut
    • Almond
    • Pecan

campur semua ni and leave overnight or asing2 dalam bekas dan esok pagi campur kan?

Apa dhirah buat, dhirah masuk the base then next day baru masuk fresh fruits :) granola and cornfalkes pon masuk the next day.. sedap sikit bile makan ade crunchiness :)

Dhirah,kena blend ke? Nutella tu nnt akan cair ke kalo rendam cmtu je? Or ade teknik?? Hehe

no need mamzelfarah. campur je esok oats tu akan jadi soft. nutella tak pnah lagi try personally, tp rase nya tak kot. nnt dhirah try and ill let u know ok. :)
